  1. CAT- 5efour pair is a high speed, high performance, 100 ohm impedance cable capable of carrying high bit-rate signalling for extended distances in horizontal and backbone cabling.
  2. Cables are suitable for Datacom services for Voices, ISDN, ATM, 155, Fast Ethernet and IEEE 802.3/5/12.

 

• Conductor: Solid Conductor of Electrolytic Copper are drawn for Uniformity of Resistance, Dimension, Flexibility, etc. Drawn insulated conductors ( 24 AWG) are twisted and laid in high Precision machines. The perfectly twisted insulated conductor thus formed balanced pair. This enables reduction in coupling inductance and it also nullifies the noise ingress. The conductor does not get cut when stripping the insulation. The conductor offer perfect contact at pins, terminals and sockets. This ensures good signal quality and reduces attenuation and cross talk.
  

• Insulation And Sheathing : Specially formulated grade of HDPE insulation and FR PVC compound for sheath offers excellent signal quality and counters the interference/ noise ingress and capacity to resist spread of fire even at high temperature. The PVC sheath offers protection and safety for indoor wiring.
  
  
• Marking : The cables are printed with generic name, size, sequential marking at every meter.

• Colours : Standard color-coding as per EIA/TIA, IS 9938
